5 Books to Add to Your October TBRs

Hello, all!

There are so many good releases this month, but here are just a few I wanted to highlight that should be on your radars.

The Hong Kong Widow- Kristen Loesch: This historical mystery takes place in a remote mansion in Hong Kong where witnesses are convinced a massacre took place, but when the police arrive, they're met with pristine rooms and deem it a collective hallucination-- until decades later when one of the witnesses returns.

The Book of Autumn- Molly O'Sullivan: Marcella Gibbons is a dimidium, meaning she is forever tied to another magician, and their bond helps enable the other's powers. But Cella has cut ties with her other half, Max Middlemore, and sworn off magic for good. But when Max shows up at her door needing help, Cella is forced into confronting the truth of her past and a power far greater than her own.

The Isle in the Silver Sea- Tasha Suri: Simran is a witch of the woods. Vina is a knight of the Queen's court. The pair are destined to fall in love, but their story will always end in tragedy. As the pair try to break the cycle, they discover a mysterious assassin is targeting them, and the only way out is to rewrite their fate.

Final Cut- Olivia Worley: This YA horror follows Hazel who just landed the lead role in a slasher film that takes place in the same small town where her father was arrested for a series of murders fifteen years prior. When incidents begin cropping up around the set, Hazel is left to unmask the copy cat before it's too late.

Slayers of Old- Jim C. Hines: They've saved the world countless times before, and now all these three retired Chosen Ones want is to relax and run their little book shop in peace. But when the locals start summoning ancient creatures, and their basement turns into a portal to the underworld, they've no choice but to save the world...again.
