Fight Club 2

I remember back in high school, my 10th grade English teacher got mad at me because I accidentally gave away the ending of Fight Club to him. I couldn't help it, I tend to get overexcited when I see people reading a book that I love, so just imagine my surprise when I read that Chuck Palahniuk is currently writing a sequel.

Debuting in May as a 10-part Dark Horse maxiseries illustrated by Cameron Stewart, Fight Club 2 will take place a decade after the movie and in both the future and the past. The story will mainly surround the Narrator, his marriage to Marla Singer and their 9 year old son, Junior, who he's failing just as his father failed him.

Palahniuk also mentioned that throughout this series,  readers will get a better look into the origins of Tyler Durden (he stated in an interview how Tyler may be something that's been around for centuries and not just a figment of the Narrator's imagination) and that something is going to happen to the Narrator's son which would lead him to turn back to Project Mayhem.

I don't know about any of you, but I'm really excited for this. I can't wait to see the artwork and how the story is going to play out, I hope it's as dark and gritty as I'm imagining.  What do you guys think?
