The Rapid Fire Book Tag

Hello, all!

I found this book tag floating around Pintrest and The Splendid Shambles, and I thought it might be fun to do. Here we go!

1. E-Book or Physical Book?

I tend to lean more towards physical books, but I do love the convenience of an e-book.

2. Paperback or Hardback?

Hardbacks. I love paperbacks, but I don't like when the covers start curling after you read them a few times.

3. Online or In-Store Book Shopping?

Depends. You can usually find books for cheaper online, but nothing beats walking around a book store.

4. Trilogies or Series?

Series. Gimme as many books as possible.

5. Heroes or Villains?

Heroes, although who doesn't love a good villain every now and again?

6. A book you want everyone to read?

The Name of the Wind- Patrick Rothfuss.

7. Recommend an underrated book?

The Veronica Speedwell series by Deanna Raybourn. One of my absolute favorites!

8. The last book you finished?

The Widow of Rose House- Diana Biller.

9.The Last Book You Bought?

Kings of the Wyld and Bloody Rose by Nicholas Eames.

10. Weirdest Thing You’ve Used as a Bookmark?

Probably some sort of receipt.

11. Used Books: Yes or No?

Sure! I don't discriminate.

12. Top Three Favourite Genres?

Fantasy, Historical Fiction and Contemporary.

13. Borrow or Buy?

Both. I prefer to borrow, but if it’s a book by an author I already love or part of a series I already read, I'll buy it.

14. Characters or Plot?

Again, both. I feel like you can't have one without the other if you want your story to be good.

15. Long or Short Books?

A nice mix of both.

16. Long or Short Chapters?

Short.

17. Name The First Three Books You Think Of…

Harry Potter series, Circe- Madeline Miller, and Ready Player One- Ernest Cline.

18. Books That Makes You Laugh or Cry?

Honestly, not a whole lot makes me cry, but Bossypants by Tina Fey made me chuckle.

19. Our World or Fictional Worlds?

Both. I love reading about new places, but it's also nice to read something familiar.

20. Audiobooks: Yes or No?

Yes! I listen to them all the time at work.

21. Do You Ever Judge a Book by its Cover?

I hate to say it, but...yeah.

22. Book to Movie or Book to TV Adaptations?

I feel like TV might be better just cause you're able to fit more details in over more episodes.

23. A Movie or TV-Show You Preferred to its Book?

Jaws or Jurassic Park.

24. Series or Standalone’s?

Both. I love when a story can be wrapped up in one, but I'm always greedy and want more when I really enjoy something.

Lemme know if you do this tag as well, I'd love to see your answers!

    1. Haha I definitely think I've used a candy wrapper before, too.

  2. Cute tag! I kind of judge books by their covers too. Sometimes a cover will be fascinating, but the summary doesn't match up to it or vice versa.
