What are some things you've been loving lately?

 

Listening to:

-Epic the Musical: You all know how I feel about Greek mythology, so when I saw that someone on TikTok put together a musical retelling, I had to check it out. So far there are three parts on Spotify: the Troy Saga, the Cyclops Saga, and the Ocean Saga.  

-"Murder on the Dance Floor"- Sophie Ellis-Bextor: Before Googling this for this list, I thought this was sung by Dua Lipa. I also couldn't tell you where it was from. All I know is that the chorus is all over TikTok and repeats in my head at least two hundred times a day.

-"Talk"- Hozier: My love for Hozier knows no bounds, but I've been hyper-focusing on this particular song lately.

Watching:

-Percy Jackson Series: I adore Percy Jackson so I was counting down the days until the new series started on Disney+. Let me tell you, I'm obsessed! The casting is superb and I love how they're bringing the books to life.

-Hart of Dixie: This is one of my comfort shows, so I decided to re-watch it after my knee surgery. It's so corny, but I love it.

-RuPaul's Drag Race: I'm such a fan of Drag Race but I haven't loved the last few seasons, so I didn't have high expectations for this new one. I'm happy to report I've been loving it! The queens this season seem so fun, and I already have some favorites so I'm excited to see what's in store.

Misc.:

-DavidsTea Jelly Donut Tea: If you like pastries and tea, you need to check this flavor out. It's the perfect balance of sweetness and tartiness. 

-Crumbl Cookies: Sticking with the food theme, my real obsession the last few months has been Crumbl cookies. One recently opened up near my house and I'm not even joking when I say I go there weekly. It's becoming a problem, but I just can't help myself 😂

-First Aid Beauty: As much as I love my pale complexion, it's highly sensitive and I'm prone to eczema flare-ups, so it's hard for me to find beauty/skincare that works for me. I've always heard good things about First Aid Beauty, and one of my friends got me a little trial kit for Christmas. It has a face wash, toner pads, and moisturizer, I've been using it ever since, and my skin seems to like it!
