April OwlCrate Review

Hello, all!

April's theme was "Death to the Undying." Let's get into it!

First up is the monthly enamel pin. This one is inspired by Strange the Dreamer.

The monthly bookmark was inspired by Sorcery of Thorns and I love it. Look at little Silas! So cute.

Next was this little reading checklist. I like the idea, but I would use something other than this.

Then there was this roller perfume inspired by Deathless. I lean more towards sweeter scents, so it's not my cup of tea, but it's nice.

Then we got a propagation station inspired by The Fifth Season. I have a black thumb and can't even keep a succulent alive, so I have no use for this, but I like how unique the item is.

The book for April was Your Blood, My Bones by Kelly Andrew. This follows Wyatt as she returns to her childhood home she just inherited. Wyatt's intentions are to burn the place to the ground, but then she finds the boy she once considered her best friend chained and left for dead inside. She discovers he's been stuck in a cycle of deaths, and the only way to stop it is to kill Wyatt. Now, the two must work together to repair the damaged magic of the farmhouse if they hope to survive.

I haven't heard about this book before, but to be honest, I didn't like the previous book by this author that I read, so I'm not sure if I'll give it a go. What do you think of this box?
