Cozy Autumn Book Tag
Hello, all!
I saw this tag making its way around BookTube, and I knew I needed to give it a go!
1. What books always remind you of fall/autumn?
There are so many that give off fall vibes, but I'll go with A River Enchanted by Rebecca Ross.
2. What is your favorite autumnal cover?
The UK paperback cover of The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss was the first to pop into my head. I just love the colors and the leaves!
3. What is your favorite autumnal drink to read with?
Tea, always, but I recently tried the new non-dairy apple crisp chai from Starbucks and it was so good (much to the dismay of my caffeine intolerance 😅).
4. Do you prefer to read early in the morning or at night?
I read whenever, but I do like reading at night a smidge more.
5. Halloween is coming! What is your favorite spooky read?
We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson.
6. What is the ultimate comfort read for you?
Either the Veronica Speedwell or Harry Potter series.
7. What is your favorite autumnal reading snack?
I don't really eat them while reading, but I always love cinnamon rolls even more this time of year.
8. What is your favorite autumnal candle to burn while reading?
Leaves by Bath & Body Works! It's my staple fall candle.
9. What is your favorite autumnal activity when you're not reading?
Baking, and apple/pumpkin picking.
10. What is on your fall/autumnal reading list?
Again, so many! A few are: The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater, Redwall by Brian Jacques, and The Haunting of Aveline Jones by Phil Hickes.
