August OwlCrate Review

Hello, all!

The theme for this month was "Falling for the Shadows." Let's get into it!

As always, first up was the latest installment in their enamel pin collection. This one is inspired by Good Omens.

Next up is this travel mug tote bag inspired by The Hurricane Wars. I've seen a few of these kinds of totes floating around the internet, and while I think they're convenient, I don't see myself actually using it.

Then we had this bottle opener inspired by One Dark Window. I love the design of this, and the quality is really nice as well.

We've gotten a few little pocket mirrors like this one over the years, and it's another item I like in theory but never use. This one is inspired by Evocation, and I do like the design/colors.

It's been a while since we got a new ceramic bowl in their LOTR collection that I completely forgot it was something they were doing. I tend to pass these along since I'm not a huge LOTR fan.

This month's book was Castle of the Cursed by Romina Garber. This follows Estella, who suffers from survivor's guilt after her parents are killed in a strange attack, as she heads to her estranged aunt's ancestral Spanish castle. Here, Estella uncovers family secrets that are somehow linked to her parent's death, and a boy only she can see who claims he's trapped in the house. As Estella dives deeper into the secrets, she realizes the suspect behind the deaths is closer than she thinks.

This sounds like a spooky time and I think it has vampires? Either way, I'm sure it'll be a perfect read for the coming months. What did you think of this box?
