Romance just inched out fantasy this year.

The longest book and the shortest book you read?

Longest book: The Butcher's Masquerade by Matt Dinniman. Shortest book: Evergreen Chase by Juneau Black.

A favorite book published in 2025?

The Raven Scholar- Antonia Hodgson.

Favorite debut of 2025?

Kill the Beast- Serra Swift.

Favorite book not published in 2025?

Play Along- Liz Tomforde.

A book that lived up to the hype?

The entire Windy City series.

A book that didn't live up the the hype?

Don't Let the Forest In- C.G. Drews.

A book that felt like an accomplishment to read?

Blood Over Bright Haven- M.L. Wang because I had been putting it off for so long.

Favorite character?

Princess Donut from Dungeon Crawler Carl.

Least favorite character?

Clio from Play Nice.

Most well written book of the year?

Wild Reverence- Rebecca Ross.

The book you pushed the most people to read?

Dungeon Crawler Carl- Matt Dinniman.

Favorite book to movie adaptation?

I think the only thing I watched this year was the anime for The Apothecary Diaries, and I was obsessed.

Book that made you cry the most?

I don't cry at books 🤷

Book that made you laugh the most?

I hate to sound like a broken record, but Dungeon Crawler Carl.

A new favorite author(s) you discovered in 2025?

Liz Tomforde.

Favorite book you re-read in 2025?

The Hunger Games series.

Best non-fiction you read in 2025?

I really enjoyed Fahrenheit-182- Mark Hoppus.
