October OwlCrate Review
Hello, all!
The theme for this month was "Bleed You Dry." Let's get into it.
(I think OwlCrate has stopped sending spoiler cards since this was the second month in a row where I didn't get one, so I'll be winging it on these fandoms again.)
Starting off with this month's enamel pin. This was inspired by Serpent and the Wings of Night.
Next was this candle holder inspired by A Dowry of Blood. I don't see how this works as a candle holder unless you're just supposed to place a tea light in the hole there, but I know this isn't something I'll use.
Then we had this Twilight-inspired pen set. I feel like you can't have a vampire-themed box without including something Twilight-related.
My favorite item was this ceramic book pot inspired by Dracula. I've always loved the ones that Illumicrate does, so I was excited to see this in the box.
The last item was socks based on A Tempest of Tea. I love a nice pair of socks, and the ones that OwlCrate does are always great quality.
The book for this month was Immortal Dark by Tigest Girma. This is said to be a mix of Ninth House and The Cruel Prince, and we're following a lost heiress as she attempts to infiltrate an arcane society and live with the vampires she suspects killed her family and kidnapped her sister.
I've been looking forward to this book, but I have seen some mixed reviews, so I'm interested to see what I think. Let me know what you think of this month's box!
